I do so indeed... the theory is to the quality of the New Moon movie. To be quite frank, if TV reviewers and whatnot can't say anything deeper and more meaningful than TOPLESS MEN as a reason to go see it, then clearly it isn't a good movie. For me, that is one of the reason I DON'T WANT to see it... well, that and Bella being emo for Edward. DX (Kill me quickly, take me to the morgue, then revive by fanning me with Hellsing anime.)

Also, I had Opti-minds this weekend. (YAY!)
It was Opti-tastic. (YAY!)
I was Opti-starving. (YAY!)
I was in Opti-pain. (YAY?)
My team came Opti-second in our Opti-division. (YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!)

Not only that... but before our presentation, too keep the light spirit of the competition, we were asked who our favourite super-hero was.
There was:
Teachers (that was a teacher, by the way.)
Sailor Moon
Then came my turn... what did you think I said? Alucard from Hellsing.
There was a lot of silence and questioning looks, not to mention people thought I was talking about Helsing (the Hugh Jackman one...). All I thought was... these people need to be educated.
Onwards there was: Ironman (that was :icondarkittyhero:)
Captain Planet (that was :iconblack-ink-wolf:)
Edward Cullen. I. Could. Not. Believe. It. What were the odds? That name echoed in my head... and all the images of Alucard>Edward.C flashed through my head. Then this: KILL THE CULLEN! KILL THE CULLEN! darkittyhero and black-ink-wolf looked at me and laughed a little. They know how anti-Twilight and pro-Hellsing I am. I laughed too. It was a funny day.

I can't draw for my life (and all my friends can draw... HOW IS THAT FAIR?!), so I rely on my God-given gift of writing (Thank you!!!).

Love the signature, mate :P Twilight horrifically annihilated any semblance of dark romanticism in the vampiric artistic view, its degenerated into shitty acting, shittier actors, and absolutely horrid settings.

Yes, I read the books and watched the movies. They are beyond horrible... And that's coming from someone who reads everything from children's books to what I'm reading at this moment, a 1,143(the other 200 are references) page book titled The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, and the book I read last week, a 900-page book about the 100-Years War, Black Plague, etc.

Books are for the accumulation of knowledge, the conquest of wisdom, the expression of emotion, and the understanding of nature and anti-nature. Where the hell does a badly-written, over-publicized piece of literary feces come into play?

O.O You seem to be quite the educated individual. GOOD ON YAH! I like to be educated (or at least sound it, lol). As for good books... well, basically, the Twilight series was like a bad fanfiction written by a love-sick 10-year-old. The chilidish actions and ideals by Bella in the book make me feel almost physically ill. It puts shame on the meaning of the word 'vampire', which is raw power, ruthlessness, mysteriousness, darkness, and sexiness (NOT BY ANY MEANS TO BE INTERPRETED AS OBSESSIVE LUST!!) rolled up into one human-sized package. That is the reason everyone loves the nightwalkers so much! Bram Stoker got the formula right, and because of that, it has stayed that way for a long time. Small deviations from the formula are okay, like taking away a couple of weaknesses... BUT COME ON! SPARKLES?!
As for how literature such as this becomes published, and then popular WORLD-WIDE I have no idea. Simply none.
And if you watch the media, you will find, because of Twilight's popularity, a lot of other books and TV series are following suit (e.g. Vampire Diaries and the like). This is like a domino affect, and essentially creates a world full of stupid, vampire wannabe-romances.

So, yeah, that's my rant. Of course I could go on for days... but then no one would want that. ;p
